A small group of single friends in Sydney hatched a plan to meet new people and find potential partners. Each person was asked to bring along a single friend to a dinner party. Twelve single people met for dinner and a very good time was had by all. Over dinner the group discussed how hard it is to meet new people, and how all of us knew someone who would make a great catch. "Wouldn't it be great," we thought "if there was an easier way to meet one another's single friends."  And from there the concept of meetmyfriend was born.
