Bruce has left us for the other side of the world so I am writing this so that some wonderful girl in Australia can meet this top English guy.

I met Bruce in our first term at Leeds Uni 15 years ago when he was a tall, dashing law student and I was a science geek and he has been one of my best friends ever since. In all seriousness, Bruce is one of my most honest and loyal friends. We meet most weeks as he's a good laugh, he's intelligent and we can talk about anything and everything. On the down side, he's a South London-phobe (where I'm from). Having said that, one of his previous girlfriends was from New York and he used to go and see her over there very often, so I guess he does make the effort for that special someone.

Of course I can't promise that Bruce is “the one” but I can promise that you will have a really good date with a tall, dashing fellow.

Thanks to Rachel for encouraging me and saying some fine and nice things! I have left wonderful Melbourne for Sydney after a six months down in St Kilda, which was a a great start to life back on Australia. But I work nationwide so it was time for a move to Sydney, a place I like a lot but don't know that well.

So life is pretty great just now but I am lacking that certain someone to share it all with. Especially in such a wonderful, vibrant city! I hope you share my love of fine restaurants and bars, old pubs, theatres and helping me out with understanding AFL :) But I am also very happy with a sunset walk on the beach or a decent movie at an old picture house. Maybe you can even brave me cooking dinner for you, which is something I love doing, but not in a Gordon Ramsey fashion!
